Approach:

Full-scale production (expanded from our core Ship & Shoot model) Architectural Digest brought us on to create a cinematic short film exploring the design philosophy of renowned architect Jim Cutler (Cutler Anderson Architects). The focus was his deep respect for nature and his approach to building homes that integrate with, rather than dominate their environment.

What We Delivered

  • Hero Short Film: A beautifully paced piece featuring Cutler discussing his principles, interwoven with sweeping shots of his signature works including woodland homes built over water, structures that foster natural life, and spaces that feel truly one with their surroundings.
  • Cinematic Library: Rich architectural detail shots, atmospheric forest and water sequences, and thoughtful interview framing that highlights the harmony between built form and nature.
  • Cinematic Treatment: Moody, contemplative visuals with natural light, organic movement, and a serene tone that elevates the architecture without overpowering the story.
